Nothing PersonalBrought Firefox to life across Chicago with the Nothing Personal campaign, resulting in Firefox being named one of Fast Company's Brands That Matter, with specific call-outs to this campaign. It included OOH, brand pop-ups, influencers, community events, and guerrilla marketing all with a little wink. Because Firefox doesn't care what you're browsing for, it's nothing personal.
Frank ConversationsOwen Thiele joined Firefox for a comedic man on the street in one of Chicago's most iconic hot dog joints to dig into what people are doing online, the good, bad, and…spicy. Nothing off limits, just frank conversations.
Rise25I founded and launched Rise25, an annual award, cohort of honorees, and broader community changing the internet for the better. This award brings together artists, advocates, activists, builders, and entrepreneurs for real conversations and change. We held live award ceremonies in Dublin and Berlin with Siobhan McSweeney hosting, organized a full day AI conference for honorees, and created documentary episodes on each honoree.
My Corner of the InternetThe internet isn't perfect, but the internet is pretty darn magical. That was the thesis of this series, My Corner of the Internet, chatting with very online people about the online spaces they can't get enough of, the sites and forums that shaped them and how they would design their own corner of the internet.
March for SisterhoodI partnered with Girls Who Code and Refinery29 to edit and publish eight impactful essays from Gen Z trailblazers, entrepreneurs and leaders for #MarchforSisterhood day. The initiative highlighted voices including Thandiwe Abdullah, Edna Chavez, Nadya Okamoto, and Delaney Tarr.
House BrewWith more young people than ever abstaining from alcohol, we wanted to meet the next generations where they want to be met; outside of the default. Enter: Coffee Raves. We hosted coffee raves in Chicago, LA, Berlin and Munich, where communities came together to dance, listen to local DJs, find inspiration and drink coffee all before 1PM as part of our Open What You Want campaign. With guerilla marketing, coffee trucks, and local creators helping spread the word.
Influencers & CreatorsCreating Firefox's UGC, creator and influencer strategy, and finding the right agencies, partners and creators to bring it to life. Influencers and creators partnered with us to talk tab groups, Firefox's free unlimited VPN, public wifi, switching browsers, how to customize your browser, how to organize your tabs, bring to life our campaigns, fight misinformation online, Firefox accessibility features, and of course, our beloved Firefox logo.
Firefox x Turning RedFirefox teamed up with Disney's Pixar film, Turning Red, to celebrate the movie launch with an influencer-led social media campaign and mobile and desktop backgrounds to help people find their true colors. We also made a landing page and video devoted to 2002 nostalgia, the year the movie was set and people first came together to create what is now known as Mozilla.
